Last week was CPR and AED Awareness Week, and we’d like to share some good news regarding heart health and our kids. At the end of April, Florida lawmakers passed a bill that requires all high school grads to have CPR training. The man behind the bill is Shawn Sima, dad to Lexi Sima, who thankfully survived sudden cardiac arrest at just 16 years old. Learn more.
How To Help Texas!
At The Local Moms Network, we’re moms committed to helping other moms. And right now in Texas, a lot of moms are dealing with unimaginably tough conditions due to the record-breaking snowfall—freezing temperatures, homes being destroyed and lack of food. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, especially the amazing moms behind our Texas sites. We want to help and know many of you do, too. Here are a few ways to do so.
